Sky Meadow Farms is a Family Owned Ranch with some employees that have been around nearly 18 years.
   Louis Bell, was Born on a Honey Farm and has always had a passion for growing fruit. Louis Bell, a married man of 50 Years (whew), and his wife Sondra Bell have  3 daughters, all living here in California. I imagine that's where  a few of the first seeds were planted. Then came the trees...
  Louis Bell had heard  a story from an ol' farmer, (which he would love to share with you), about a variety of Peaches that Harvest late in the summer called Last Chance Peaches. This unusuall variety ripens in September providing a Sweetness almost unheard of with abundant amounts of juice described as the juciest ever.
  A Man of Vision, Louis Bell, had heard of another fruit that was rare to the area, Black Apples. Louis soon started planting Arkansas Black Apples. Yes! Black Apples. Arkansas Black Apples ripen in late  late September early October and are of the hardest crispiest apple you'll ever find with a Tingly Tarty Taste. Black Apples have been known to keep well in a cool place for months. We love to polish them in front of you with it's Self Producing Wax. keep them in a cool place and enjoying it's great flavor for the holidays. Great for pies, Apple sauce or just Eating
   We also have Six other varieties of Apples. Gala, Fuji, Braeburn, Golden Delicious, Granny Smith and Winesap, starting in Aug ust and running through November. Cherries are ready in June.
  The Ranch has 50+ year old trees bordering  a pasture full of cows that Mr. Bell considers his pets. Last year Two Bulls were born. Pepe and Sinbad. Paulo, the Ranch Foreman, bottled fed Pepe and became Mother to him. Pepe grew up with the Ranch chickens so he's not sure what he is. Pepe is the  kindest and gentlest Bull you'll ever meet!! Pepe along with his younger brother Sinbad love Children and  parents alike.
